On January 25th, BCFRW members joyfully surprised President Shirley Maia-Cusick with a birthday celebration cleverly disguised as a regular meeting. Hosted by Michelle Mann, the gathering featured great food, laughter, and heartfelt moments. Shirley was genuinely moved by her birthday gift—President Trump’s Save America book—and a beautiful BCFRW scrapbook of events presented by Terri Kane. The occasion also marked the warm welcome of Dorene Nixon as a new Executive Board member. It was a perfect blend of business and celebration, showcasing the camaraderie and spirit of BCFRW.
